Hope you're well. So what's been going on in Mauritius recently about diabetes.Well, as a matter of fact The Rotary Club of Flacq hosted a campaign about the prevention of Diabetes in Youngsters on Saturday !
I have to say , I am extremely impressed by the amount of time and energy that the Rotary Club of Mauritius is putting.
However , they said that raising awareness is never enough ! which is genuinely true -
So today I am going to blog about , Diabetes Mellitus Type 2

Type 2 occurs :
- usually after childhood
- It's when target cells become insensitive to insulin
- Insulin injections are not needed
- Low carbohydrate diets usually control the condition
